DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY WEEKEND LEVEL 1 (For Total
Beginners)
Saturday and
Sunday, 10:30 to 16:30 or 4 Evenings (18:30 to 21:30 - Mon. Tus. Thu. Fri.)
In this Workshop we will focus in getting to know the camera and using it
in Fully Advanced Exposure Mode. With hands-on experience
(70% practice / 30% theory) and projects throughout the 2 days, you will feel in control of your camera.
Syllabus:
- Getting to know your Camera
(Megapixels, Resolution, Print Size and File Formats)
- Lenses
(Focal Lengths, Macro, Prime & Zoom Lenses).
- Manual
and Autofocus (Focusing Points, Autofocus Lock, Single or Continous Focus).
- Manual Exposure (ISO, Shutter Speeds, F/Stops and The Light Meter),
- Aperture Priority, Shutter Speed Priority and Program.
- Metering Modes.
- Light (Direction, Form and Quality

(Digital Photography Level 1 Strictly Required) Saturday
and Sunday, 10:30 to 16:30 or 4 Evenings (18:30 to 21:30 - Mon. Tus. Thu. Fri.)
In this workshop we go more in depth
in mastering the principles of photography.You
will learn to Craft / Make your Images, rather then just take them, by using Creative Exposures, Composition and
The Elements of Design.
There is also a good introduction to Photoshop
and Image Manipulation. . Syllabus: White Balance The Colore of Light (Natural & Artificial) Composition, Perspective and Elements of Design Portraiture Places and Theme Photography Flash
(On camera flash, Fill-Flash, Rear and Slow synch Flash) Intro
to The Digital Darkroom "Photoshop" (Camera Raw Plug in, Image Size and Resizing, Histograms, Black and White Conversion,
Sepia Effect, Curves, Selection Tools, Cropping, Watermarks, Filters and Contact Sheets).

Beginners) Monday to Friday, 10:30 to 16:30 or 8 Evenings (18:30 to 21:30 - Mon. Tus. Thu. Fri.)
The 4 Days Digital Photography Workshop
run's Monday to Friday and is Level 1 and Level 2 combined.
Wednesday
you are off with home-work and practical assignments to bring back the next day. In this workshop you breathe and leave photography for 5 days,
